The qualification is usually taken as a half-day course at any approved Highfield International centre. There are 4 contact hours required with a tutor.
How long will it take me to achieve this qualification?
There is 1 mandatory unit which is assessed through a combination of practical demonstrations and a 15-question, 30-minute multiple-choice examination. Learners must demonstrate competence in all demonstrations and achieve at least 10 correct answers in the exam to be awarded a Pass. Learners achieving 12 or more correct answers will be awarded a Merit.
How is the qualification assessed?
On completion of this qualification, learners may take other Highfield qualifications, such as the Level 2 Award in Safe Moving and Handling (RQF) or Level 2 Award in Moving People Safely (RQF).
